Matthew 26:48
ਯਹੂਦਾ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ: “ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਚੁੰਮਾਂ ਉਹੀ ਯਿਸੂ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਰਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲੈਣਾ।”

ਯੋਆਬ ਨੇ ਅਮਾਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈ! ਤੂੰ ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਨਾਲ ਹੈਂ?” ਤਾਂ ਯੋਆਬ ਨੇ ਅਮਾਸਾ ਦੀ ਦਾਹੜੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਨਾਲ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੰਮ ਕੇ ਵੇਖੋ ਆਖ ਸੱਕੇ।
Psalm 28:3
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਇਵੇਂ ਨਾ ਸੋਚੋ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਮੰਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਵਾਂ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ “ਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ” ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਉਂਤਾ ਘੜਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਯਹੂਦਾ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਕਿ ਕੌਣ ਯਿਸੂ ਹੈ, ਵਿਉਂਤ ਬਣਾਈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜਿਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਚੁੰਮਾਂ, ਉਹੀ ਯਿਸੂ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਰਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲੈਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਜਾਣਾ।”
