ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਰਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਲੈ ਗਏ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਜਾਜਕ, ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਆਗੂ ਅਤੇ ਨੇਮ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ।

ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ। ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਦੇ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਿਆ-ਜਿਵੇਂ ਭੇਡ ਜ਼ਿਬਾਹ ਕਰਨ ਲਿਜਾਈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਉਸ ਲੇਲੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਦੋਂ ਜ਼ਰਾ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਵੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਉਸਦੀ ਉੱਨ ਲਾਹੁਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਿਆ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ।
