ਕਇਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਬਲ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈਆਂ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਹਾਬਲ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਬਲੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਹਾਬਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਹਾਬਲ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਸੀ। ਹਾਬਲ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ, ਪਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਉਹ ਹਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਬੋਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

ਕਇਨ ਵਰਗੇ ਨਾ ਬਣੋ। ਕਇਨ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ (ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ) ਸੀ। ਕਇਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਹਾਬਲ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਕਇਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ? ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕੇਨ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਹਾਬਲ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਸਨ।

Jeremiah 7:28

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੋੜਨ ਦਾ ਚਾਹਵਾਨ ਬਰਕਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਹ ਬਾਣੀ ਹੋਈ। ਇਹ ਫ਼ਾਰਸ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾਰਾ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ 8 ਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ। (ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ ਬਰਕਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਕਯਾਹ ਇੱਦੋ ਨਬੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ।) ਉਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਇਉਂ ਸੀ:
Hebrews 12:24
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ ਹੋ। ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਨਵਾਂ ਕਰਾਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਛਿੜਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਲਹੂ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ ਹੋ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਹਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਲਹੂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ।
