Leviticus 21:10
“ਪਰਧਾਨ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮਸਹ ਵਾਲਾ ਤੇਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਤੇ ਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਧਾਨ ਜਾਜਕ ਦੀ ਖਾਸ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਸ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਹਿਨਣ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਦੀ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਣ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਲ ਵੱਧਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾੜਨੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ।

Leviticus 8:12
