“ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇਲਾਗ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਗਰੀਬ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਜਾਂ ਧਨਵਾਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਖਾਸ ਰਿਆਇਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਰਸਾਉਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੋ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬੇਲਾਗ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

Deuteronomy 16:19
ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਰਿਆਇਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਵੱਢੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਬਦਲਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਪੈਸਾ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੀ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Exodus 23:2
“ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਗਲਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਟੋਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਸਰਣ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ। ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਵਾਹ ਹੋ, ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਖਾਤਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਨਾ ਬਦਲੋ ਜੋ ਗਲਤ ਹਨ। ਉਹੀ ਕਰੋ ਜੋ ਸਹੀ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਲਾਗ ਹੈ।
Proverbs 24:23

James 2:6

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਕਿੰਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਪੱਖਪਾਤ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੋਂਗੇ। ਕਿੰਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੰਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਜਾਣ ਦਿਉਂਗੇ।”

Deuteronomy 27:19
“ਲੇਵੀ ਆਖਣਗੇ, ‘ਸਰਾਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀਆਂ, ਯਤੀਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਧਵਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ!’ “ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਆਖਣਗੇ, ‘ਆਮੀਨ!’

Exodus 23:6

Proverbs 18:5
ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਪੱਖ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬੇਗੁਨਾਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਂਝਿਆਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਸਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ।
Exodus 18:21
ਪਰ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਚੰਗੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰ ਤੇ ਆਗੂ ਵੀ ਚੁਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। “ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇਕ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ-ਉਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪੈਸੇ ਖਾਤਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਫ਼ੈਸਲੇ ਨਾ ਬਦਲਣ। ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਬਣਾ। ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ, ਸੌ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ, ਪੰਜਾਹ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਦਸ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਵੀ ਹਾਕਮ ਹੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ।
