ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਜੋ ਬਲਦ ਜਾਂ ਲੇਲੇ ਜਾਂ ਬੱਕਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਜਾਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ; ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਖੂਨ ਨਾ ਖਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਖੂਨ ਨਾ ਖਾਵੇ।
Leviticus 17:15
“ਇਸਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਮਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਧੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਧੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਤੀਕ ਪਲੀਤ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਪਾਕ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਹੈ।
Deuteronomy 12:5
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਇੱਕ ਖਾਸ ਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮ ਰੱਖੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਉਸਦਾ ਖਾਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
Deuteronomy 12:11
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਖਾਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮ ਰੱਖੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਲਿਆਉਣੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ, ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ, ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਸਵੰਧ , ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਖਾਸ ਸੁਗਾਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਸੁਗਾਤ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਲਿਆਉ।
Deuteronomy 12:20
“ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡੇਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਖਾਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੂਰ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਵੋ। ਜੇ ਉਹ ਥਾਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੂਰ ਹੋਵੇ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਾਸ ਦੀ ਭੁੱਖ ਹੋਵੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਮਾਸ ਖਾ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੋਵੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਇੱਜੜ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਜਿਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਚਾਹੋਂ ਇਹ ਮਾਸ ਖਾ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ।
Deuteronomy 12:26
“ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਖਾਸ ਚੀਜ਼ ਅਰਪਨ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੋ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਖਾਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਚੋਣ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਖਾਸ ਸੁਖਣਾ ਸੁਖੇਂ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਖਾਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਾਕੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਸੁਗਾਤ ਅਰਪਨ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
