Job 2:11

ਅਲੀਫਜ਼ ਦਾ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਜਵਾਬ ਫੇਰ ਤੇਮਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਅਲੀਫਜ਼ ਨੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ:

“ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤਿੰਨੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤਕਲੀਫ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ ਆਰਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ।
Job 16:20
ਮੇਰਾ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਜਦ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੰਝੂ ਕੇਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਨੇ।

“ਮੇਰੇ ਦੋਸਤੋਂ ਤਰਸ ਕਰੋ, ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਤਰਸ ਕਰੋ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰਿਆ।

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਵਾਪਸ ਦੇਣਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਖਤਮ ਕਰ ਲਈਆਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੇਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਅਲੀਫਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਲੀਫਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਲੀਫਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹਾਂ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਹੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ। ਪਰ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਹੈ, ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਹੀ-ਸਹੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ।
Proverbs 18:24
ਕੁਝ ਦੋਸਤ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਸਾਥੀ ਹੀ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਇੱਕ ਚੰਗਾ ਦੋਸਤ ਇੱਕ ਭਰਾ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ
Genesis 37:35
ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ, ਧੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੌਂਸਲਾ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪਰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਦਿਲ ਨਾ ਧਰਿਆ। ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦਾ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੱਕ ਸੋਗ ਮਨਾਉਂਦਾ ਰਹਾਂਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਮਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦਾ।” ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦਾ ਸੋਗ ਮਨਾਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ।
