Jeremiah 8:12
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੰਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਾਸਚਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੁੱਟੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।’” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ।

Jeremiah 6:15
ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਅਮਲਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਉਹ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ।
Isaiah 3:9

Zephaniah 3:5
ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਉਸੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸਿਰਫ ਚੰਗਿਆਈ ਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਕੁਝ ਬੁਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਤੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹਰ ਸਵੇਰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਿਆਉਂ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦਾ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬਦ-ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਰਨਸਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।
Psalm 52:1

Deuteronomy 32:35

Philippians 3:19

Hosea 5:9

Isaiah 24:2

Isaiah 9:13
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਟਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਉਸ ਵੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰਤਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਚੱਲਣਗੇ।
