Habakkuk 3:11
ਸੂਰਜ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਨ ਆਪਣੀ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਗੁਆ ਬੈਠੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਤੇਜ਼ ਚਮਕੀਲੀ ਰੋਸ਼ਨੀ ਦੀ ਭੜਕ ਵੇਖੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਚਮਕਣੋਂ ਰੁਕ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਤੇਜ਼ ਰੋਸ਼ਨੀ ਹਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਚੀਰਦੇ ਬਰਛੇ ਤੇ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਸੀ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਬੈਤ ਹੋਰੋਨ ਤੋਂ ਅਜ਼ੇਕਾਹ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਸੜਕ ਵੱਲ ਭਜਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ-ਵੱਡੇ ਗੜ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਮੀਂਹ ਵਰ੍ਹਾਇਆ। ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਗੜ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਿਪਾਹਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਗੜ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਮਰੇ।

ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ “ਅਵਾਜ਼” ਪੂਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ੈਲਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ “ਸ਼ਬਦ” ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਤੀਕਰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਸੂਰਜ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਘਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੈ।

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੜੇਗਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਫਰਾਸੀਮ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੜਿਆ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਹਿਰਵਾਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਗਿਬਓਨ ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਹੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕੁਝ ਅਜੀਬ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੰਮ ਖਤਮ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਉਸਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਨਬੀ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਹੈ।
Isaiah 38:8
“ਦੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੌੜੀਆਂ ਉਤਲੇ ਪਰਛਾਵੇਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਸ ਕਦਮ ਪਿੱਛਾਂਹ ਧੱਕ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਸੂਰਜ ਦਾ ਪਰਛਾਵਾਂ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਹੁਣ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਦਸ ਕਦਮ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਚੱਲਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।”
