Genesis 4:17
ਕਇਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਾ ਜੋੜਿਆ। ਉਹ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹਨੋਕ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਕਇਨ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉਸਾਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਨੋਕ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

2 Samuel 18:18
ਜਦੋਂ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਅਜੇ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ, ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ, ਖੱਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਥੰਮ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ, “ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਈ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਰਹੇ।” ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਉਸ ਥੰਮ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਸੀ। ਅੱਜ ਤੀਕ ਉਹ ਥੰਮ ਵਾਲੀ ਥਾਂ “ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਦੀ ਮੜ੍ਹੀ” ਅਖਵਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

Psalm 49:11
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਹੀ ਸਦਾ-ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਉਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਵਾਂ ਘਰ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਕਿੰਨੀ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੋਣ।
