ਲੂਤ ਤੇ ਉਸਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਲੂਤ ਸੋਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਚਲੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ। ਉਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਗੁਫ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੇ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੌਰ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣੋ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੇਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣੋ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਰੂਹਾਂ ਜਿਉਂ ਸੱਕਣ। ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਓ ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਦਾ-ਸਦਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਉਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੈਂ ਦਾਊਦ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਦਾਊਦ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਉਸਦਾ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ। ਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਯਕੀਨ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ।
Amos 3:6
ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦੇਵੇ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਹੀ ਲੋਕ ਡਰ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਬ ਉੱਠਣਗੇ। ਜੇਕਰ ਸਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਦੁਰਘਟਨਾ ਘਟ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
