Genesis 11:4
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉਸਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਬੁਰਜ ਉਸਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਛੁੰਹਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਰੱਖੇਗਾ। ਅਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਿੱਲਰਾਂਗੇ।”

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉਸਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਬੁਰਜ ਉਸਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਛੁੰਹਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਰੱਖੇਗਾ। ਅਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਿੱਲਰਾਂਗੇ।”
