Exodus 17:15
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਬਣਾਈ। ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਰੱਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਝੰਡਾ ਹੈ।”

Genesis 33:20
ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ। ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ “ਏਲ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ,” ਧਰਿਆ।
