ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ, ਪਰ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੰਗੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਠੀਕ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ, ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਧੱਕ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਦੀ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਜੀਵਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ-ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ, ਇਸਹਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
