ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਿਮਾਣਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਖਿਆ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੰਨ ਖੁਆਇਆ, ਜਿਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਜਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਜਾਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਵਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਰੋਟੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੀ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਪਰ ਹਰ ਉਸ ਬਚਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਿਮਾਣਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਖਿਆ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੰਨ ਖੁਆਇਆ, ਜਿਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਜਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਜਾਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਵਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਰੋਟੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੀ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਪਰ ਹਰ ਉਸ ਬਚਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
