ਫ਼ੇਰ ਰਾਜਾ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਉਛਲ ਕੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਤਿੰਨ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਤਿੰਨ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਸੀ! ਕੀ ਇਹ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ?” ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹਾਂ, ਰਾਜਨ।”

ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਦੂਤ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੇਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਸ਼ੇਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਬੇਕਸੂਰ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ, ਰਾਜਨ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ।”
Daniel 5:18
“ਰਾਜਨ, ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜੀ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਬਣਾਇਆ।
Daniel 5:6
ਰਾਜਾ ਬੇਲਸ਼ੱਸਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਸੀ। ਉਸਦਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਡਰ ਨਾਲ ਬਗ੍ਗਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀਆਂ ਲੱਤਾਂ ਕੰਬਣ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ। ਉਸਦੀਆਂ ਲੱਤਾਂ ਇੰਨੀਆਂ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਰਹਿ ਸੱਕਦਾ।
Daniel 4:27
ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ, ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰੋ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਹਟ ਜਾਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਹੀ ਕੁਝ ਕਰੋ ਜੋ ਸਹੀ ਹੈ। ਮੰਦੇ ਅਮਲ ਛੱਡ ਦਿਓ। ਅਤੇ ਗਰੀਬ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਹੋਵੋ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਬਣੇ ਰਹੋ।”

ਰਾਜਨ, ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਰੁੱਖ ਹੈਂ! ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈਂ। ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਲੰਮੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਛੁੰਹਦਾ ਸੀ-ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਨੁਕਰਾਂ ਤਾਈਂ ਫ਼ੈਲੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
Daniel 3:17
ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਲਦੀ ਭਠ੍ਠੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦੇਵੇਂਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਸੂਬੇਦਾਰਾਂ, ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ, ਰਾਜਪਾਲਾਂ, ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰਾਂ, ਖਜਾਨਚੀਆਂ, ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰਾਂ, ਹਾਕਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਕੇ ਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ। ਰਾਜਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ, ਰਾਜੇ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਬੁੱਤ ਦੀ ਸਮਰਪਨ-ਰਸਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਉਣ।

ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦਾ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਭੈਅ ਦੇਣਾ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਗੋਲਿਆਥ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਦੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ। ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਨੇ ਤਦ ਸੈਨਾਪਤੀ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਅਬਨੇਰ, ਇਹ ਮੁੰਡਾ ਕਿਸ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੈ?” ਅਬਨੇਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਸੁਆਮੀ, ਤੇਰੀ ਸੌਂਹ, ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਇਹ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ?”
