ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਖਬਰ ਸੁਣੀ ਦਾਊਦ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਦਰਬਾਨ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਛੱਤ ਦੇ ਬੰਨੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਚੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਇੱਕਲਾ ਨੱਸਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
