ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਛੱਡਣ ਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਇਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਹਾਂ, ਇਹ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਸੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਇੱਥੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਨਾਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ‘ਮੈਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ’ ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਹੁਣੇ ਉਸ ਮੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਹੁਣ ਉਸ ਥਾਵੇਂ ਹੈ।”
Ezekiel 19:8

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਾਂਗਾ” ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੈ-“ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਾਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਸੱਦ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਵੀ ਸੱਦ ਬੁਲਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਧਰਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਲਈ ਸਖਣੇ ਮਾਰੂਬਲ ਵਾਂਗ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਲੋਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਦੇਖਕੇ ਸੀਟੀਆਂ ਮਾਰਨਗੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਿੰਨੀ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ।

ਤਾਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਰਾਮੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਲਈ ਖੁਲ੍ਹਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਰੱਜ ਕੇ ਖਾਧਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੀਤਾ। ਫੇਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਹ ਜਾਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਤੇ ਉਹ ਸੈਨਾ ਅਰਾਮ ’ਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਲਕਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਪਰਤ ਗਈ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਅਰਾਮੀ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਛਾਪੇ ਮਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਏ।
Micah 3:12

ਅਤੀਤ ਵਿੱਚ, ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸੀ ਊਰੀਯਾਹ। ਉਹ ਸ਼ਮਅਯਾਹ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਊਰੀਯਾਹ ਕਿਰਯਬ-ਯਆਰੀਮ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਸੀ। ਊਰੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
Jeremiah 26:6
ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨੋਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚਲੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੀਲੋਹ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਰਗਾ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਸਾਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੋਚਣਗੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਨਗੇ।’”

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਓਸਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦੂਰ ਦੁਰਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਦੁਮੇਲੋ ਪਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕਹਿਰ ਆਪਣਾ ਦਰਸਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਹਬਿਆਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਵਰਤੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ।”
Isaiah 7:17
“ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਰਗੀਆ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲਾਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਅਲੱਗ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ । ਉਹ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੈਣਗੀਆਂ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਜੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਲਿਆਵੇਗਾ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਇਹ ਮੈਂ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਕੁ ਚਿਰ ਕਰਾਂ?” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਜਿੰਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਤੱਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤਬਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਗੁਜ਼ਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਉਨਾਂ ਚਿਰ ਤੱਕ ਇਹ ਕਰੋ। ਇਹੋ ਕਰੋ ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਚਿਰ ਤੱਕ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਬਚੇ। ਉਨਾਂ ਚਿਰ ਤੱਕ ਇਹੋ ਕਰੋ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਧਰਤੀ ਤਬਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਖਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ।”

ਹਾਲੇ ਉਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਵਾਹਕ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਹੀ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਵਾਹਕ ਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਤੀਸਰੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਵਾਹਕ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਫ਼ੌਜੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਦਸਤੇ ਭੇਜੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਊਠ ਲੈ ਗਏ! ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਸਿਰਫ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਬਚ ਸੱਕਿਆ ਹਾਂ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਖਬਰ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ।”

ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਕਬਰ ਤੇ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਘਟਨਾ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਅ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰੀ ਬਸੰਤ ਰੁੱਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੋਆਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਵੜੇ। ਉਹ ਜੰਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਲਈ ਆਏ ਸਨ।

ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਕੌਮ ਦਾ ਸਰਾਪ “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਦੂਰ ਦੁਰਾਡਿਉਂ ਇੱਕ ਕੌਮ ਲਿਆਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੋਲੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝੋਂਗੇ। ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਇੱਕ ਬਾਜ਼ ਵਾਂਗ ਵਾਰ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
