ਏਲੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੋਟ ਲਾਹ ਕੇ ਵਲੇਟਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਣੀ ਖੱਬੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਦੋ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡ ਗਿਆ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਏਲੀਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਸੁੱਕੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਦੀ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ।
