ਤਦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਤਦ ਉਹ ਅਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਬਚ ਨਿਕਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਮੁੜ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੰਬੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ।

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਹੇਠੋਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਨਾਉਂ ਹੀ ਮਿਟਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯੋਆਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਾਰਾਬੁਆਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਦਵਾਇਆ।

ਆਪਣੇ ਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹਜ਼ਾਏਲ ਨੇ ਲੜਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਆਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਯਹੋਆਹਾਜ਼ ਤੋਂ ਕਈ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਖੋਹ ਲਏ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਯੋਆਸ਼ ਨੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਬਨ-ਹਦਦ ਤੋਂ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਾਪਸ ਲੈ ਲਏ ਸਨ। ਯੋਆਸ਼ ਨੇ ਬਨ-ਹਦਦ ਨੂੰ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਾਰੀ ਹਰਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਾਪਸ ਲੈ ਲਏ।

1 Samuel 19:7

Exodus 4:10
ਪਰ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਦੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਕੋਈ ਚੰਗਾ ਬੁਲਾਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਠੀਕ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੋਲਣ ਦੇ ਕਾਬਿਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਹੁਣ, ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਵੀ, ਮੈਂ ਚੰਗਾ ਬੁਲਾਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਹੌਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਢਂਗਾ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ।”
