ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ੇਖੀ ਮਾਰਨਾ ਹੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੇਖੀ ਮਾਰਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸ਼ਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਪੌਲੁਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ; ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਨਾ ਸੋਚੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਮੂਰਖ ਹਾਂ। ਪਰ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਮੂਰਖ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਮੂਰਖ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰੋ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਥੋੜੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਸ਼ੇਖੀ ਮਾਰ ਸੱਕਾਂਗਾ।

ਪੌਲੁਸ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਅਸੀਸ ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ੇਖੀ ਮਾਰਨਾ ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਇਸਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ਾਇਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਰਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
Colossians 1:24
ਪੌਲੁਸ ਦਾ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾ ਲਈ ਕਾਰਜ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਦੁੱਖ ਝੱਲਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੈ। ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾ ਦੀ ਖਾਤਿਰ ਹਾਲੇ ਮਸੀਹ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਦੁੱਖ ਬਾਕੀ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਕਲੀਫ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ, ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾ ਲਈ ਤਕਲੀਫ਼ਾਂ ਝੱਲਦਾ ਹਾ।
