1 Samuel 30:16

ਨਾਬਾਲ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਅਬੀਗੈਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਨਾਬਾਲ ਕੋਲ ਗਈ ਉਹ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਜ-ਮਸਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਖਾ ਪੀ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਗਲੀ ਸਵੇਰ ਤੱਕ ਅਬੀਗੈਲ ਨੇ ਨਾਬਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਦੱਸਿਆ।

ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਜਸ਼ਨ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਕੇ ਆ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਦਾਗੋਨ ਅੱਗੇ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਬਲੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸਾਡੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਸਮਸੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।”

ਜਦੋਂ ਜਾਸੂਸ ਬੈਤੇਲ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਿਆ। ਜਾਸੂਸਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਗੁਪਤ ਰਸਤਾ ਦਿਖਾਓ। ਅਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ। ਪਰ ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਵਾਂਗੇ।”
Exodus 32:27
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਾਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕੀ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ; ‘ਹਰੇਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਫ਼ੜ ਲੈਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਿਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਸਿਰੇ ਤੱਕ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਹਰ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਭਰਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਤਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਵੇ।’”

ਪਰਬਤ ਤੋਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਉੱਤਰਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਅਵਤ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਸੁਣਿਆ। ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹੇਠਾਂ ਡੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਵਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਆ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਲੱਗਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।”
Revelation 11:10
ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਗੱਲੋਂ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਦੋਨੋਂ ਮਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਦਾਅਵਤਾਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਗਾਤਾਂ ਭੇਜਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨਬੀਆਂ (ਗਵਾਹਾਂ) ਨੇ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁੱਖ ਤਕਲੀਫ਼ਾਂ ਲਿਆਂਦੀਆਂ।
