ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਤਾਂ ਹੁਣ ਦੱਸ ਮੈਂ ਕੀ ਕਰਾਂ? ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਗਲਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ? ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਕੇਵਲ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।”

ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਬੁਰਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਬਦਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਬੁਰਾ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ। ਜਾਂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੰਦਾ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਬਦਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਮੰਦਾ ਨਾ ਬੋਲੋ। ਪਰ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿਉ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਅਸੀਸਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸੱਦੇ ਗਏ ਸੀ।
