ਪਰ ਸਮੂਏਲ ਨੇ ਅਗਾਗ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੇਰੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨੇ ਮਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਾਲ ਖੋਹ ਲਏ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਤੇਰੀ ਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਔਲਾਦ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।” ਸਮੂਏਲ ਨੇ ਗਿਲਗਾਲ ਦੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਅਗਾਗ ਦੇ ਟੁਕੜੇ-ਟੁਕੜੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤੇ।

Jeremiah 48:10

Exodus 17:11
