ਨਾਥਾਨ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਜ਼ਰਯਾਹ ਰਾਜਪਾਲਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਸੀ। ਨਾਥਾਨ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜ਼ਾਬੂਦ ਜਾਜਕ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ ਸੀ।

ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ 12 ਹਿਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ, ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ 12 ਹਿਸਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਲੇ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਜਿਲੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਗਵਰਨਰ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਰਦਾ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਹਿਦਾਇਤ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਲਈ ਰਸਤ ਲਿਆਉਣ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 12 ਦੇ 12 ਗਵਰਨਰ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ-ਇੱਕ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰਸਤ ਪੁੱਜਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।

ਨਾਥਾਨ ਦਾ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਝਿੜਕਣਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਨਾਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਨਾਥਾਨ ਨੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਕੋਲ ਆਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਅਮੀਰ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਗਰੀਬ।
2 Samuel 8:18
ਯਹੋਯਾਦਾ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਬਨਾਯਾਹ, ਕਰੇਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਲੇਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਸਨ।

ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਨਾਥਾਨ ਨਬੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਜੋ ਦਿਆਰ ਦੀ ਲੱਕੜ ਤੋਂ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋਏ ਵੱਧੀਆ ਮਹਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਅਜੇ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਲਈ ਵੱਧੀਆ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਵਾਉਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।”
