1 Corinthians 15:44
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਰੀਰ “ਬੀਜਿਆ” ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਭੌਤਿਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਜੀਵਨ ਵੱਲ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਆਤਮਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਭੌਤਿਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਆਤਮਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਵੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਣਾ ਉਸੇ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮ, ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਿਨ, ਸਾਰੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਇੱਕਸਾਥ ਇੱਕਤਰ ਹੋਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਰਵਾਜੇ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਲਏ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਆਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਣ ਲੱਗਾ, “ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਮਿਲੇ।”

ਇੱਕ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਬਾਦ ਚੇਲੇ ਉਸੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਿਰ ਇੱਕਤਰ ਹੋਏ। ਥੋਮਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੀ। ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਬੰਦ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਆਣ ਕੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਵੇ।”
