1 Corinthians 14:5
ਮੇਰੀ ਚਾਹਨਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਬੋਲਣ ਦੀ ਦਾਤ ਹੋਵੇ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਇਸਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਗੰਮ ਵਾਕ ਕਰ ਸੱਕੋਂ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਅਗੰਮ ਵਾਕ ਕਰਦਾ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕੇਵਲ ਵੱਖੋ ਵੱਖਰੀਆਂ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਹੀ ਬੋਲ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਵੱਖੋ-ਵੱਖਰੀਆਂ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਬੋਲਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਗੰਮ ਵਾਕ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਖਰੀਆਂ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੋ ਭਾਸ਼ੀਆ ਬਣ ਸੱਕੇ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬੋਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਮਿਲ ਸੱਕਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਮੇਰੀ ਚਾਹਨਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਬੋਲਣ ਦੀ ਦਾਤ ਹੋਵੇ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਇਸਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਗੰਮ ਵਾਕ ਕਰ ਸੱਕੋਂ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਅਗੰਮ ਵਾਕ ਕਰਦਾ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕੇਵਲ ਵੱਖੋ ਵੱਖਰੀਆਂ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਹੀ ਬੋਲ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਵੱਖੋ-ਵੱਖਰੀਆਂ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਬੋਲਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਗੰਮ ਵਾਕ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਖਰੀਆਂ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੋ ਭਾਸ਼ੀਆ ਬਣ ਸੱਕੇ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬੋਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਮਿਲ ਸੱਕਦੀ ਹੈ।

I would that ye all spake with tongues but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.

Now I would have you all speak with tongues, but rather that ye should prophesy: and greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.
