1 Corinthians 14:35
ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਜਾਨਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਰ ਆਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀਆਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਪੁੱਛਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਲਈ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾ ਦੀ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੋਲਣਾ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ।

ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਇੱਕਤਰਤਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਾਮੋਸ਼ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੋਲਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਧੀਨਤਾ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਲੈਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਆਖਦੀ ਹੈ।
Ephesians 5:12
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਬੋਲਣਾ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਨਾਕ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਤੀਓ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਹਨ। ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਸੀਸਾਂ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
