Deuteronomy 7:25
“ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟਕੇ ਸਾੜ ਦਿਉਂ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਸੋਨੇ ਜਾਂ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੀ ਤਮੰਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ। ਇਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਿਕਂਜੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
