Deuteronomy 7:20
“ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਣ ਲਈ ਡੇਹਮੂ (ਹਾਰਨੇਟ ) ਵੀ ਭੇਜੇਗਾ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਬਚਕੇ ਛੁਪਣਗਾਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

| the hornet | אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ | ʾĕlōhêkā | ay-loh-HAY-ha |
| until them, among | בָּ֑ם | bām | bahm |
| they that are left, | עַד | ʿad | ad |
| themselves hide and | אֲבֹ֗ד | ʾăbōd | uh-VODE |
| from | הַנִּשְׁאָרִ֛ים | hannišʾārîm | ha-neesh-ah-REEM |
| thee, be destroyed. | וְהַנִּסְתָּרִ֖ים | wĕhannistārîm | veh-ha-nees-ta-REEM |
| מִפָּנֶֽיךָ׃ | mippānêkā | mee-pa-NAY-ha |
