Deuteronomy 29:18
ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਇੱਥੇ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਆਦਮੀ, ਔਰਤ, ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਜਾਂ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰਤ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਹੋਰਨਾ ਦੇਸ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ। ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਹੋਰਨਾ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜ਼ਹਿਰੀਲੀਆਂ ਜੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਕੌੜੇ ਫ਼ਲ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਇੱਥੇ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਆਦਮੀ, ਔਰਤ, ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਜਾਂ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰਤ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਹੋਰਨਾ ਦੇਸ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ। ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਹੋਰਨਾ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜ਼ਹਿਰੀਲੀਆਂ ਜੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਕੌੜੇ ਫ਼ਲ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
