Deuteronomy 28:32
“ਹੋਰਨਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਧੀਆਂ-ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਤਲਾਸ਼ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਲਾਸ਼ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ, ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ, ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕੋਂਗੇ।

| and thy daughters | וּבְנֹתֶ֜יךָ | ûbĕnōtêkā | oo-veh-noh-TAY-ha |
| shall be given | נְתֻנִ֨ים | nĕtunîm | neh-too-NEEM |
| another unto | לְעַ֤ם | lĕʿam | leh-AM |
| people, | אַחֵר֙ | ʾaḥēr | ah-HARE |
| and thine eyes | וְעֵינֶ֣יךָ | wĕʿênêkā | veh-ay-NAY-ha |
| shall look, | רֹא֔וֹת | rōʾôt | roh-OTE |
| fail and | וְכָל֥וֹת | wĕkālôt | veh-ha-LOTE |
| with longing for | אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם | ʾălêhem | uh-lay-HEM |
| all them | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| the day | הַיּ֑וֹם | hayyôm | HA-yome |
| no be shall there and long: | וְאֵ֥ין | wĕʾên | veh-ANE |
| might | לְאֵ֖ל | lĕʾēl | leh-ALE |
| in thine hand. | יָדֶֽךָ׃ | yādekā | ya-DEH-ha |
