Deuteronomy 2:4
ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖ: ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੇਈਰ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹੋਕੇ ਲੰਘੋਂਗੇ। ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰਾ ਦੀ ਹੈ, ਏਸਾਓ ਦੇ ਵਾਰਸਾਂ ਦੀ। ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਬਹੁਤ ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰ ਰਹਿਣਾ।

| Esau, of | בְּנֵֽי | bĕnê | beh-NAY |
| which dwell | עֵשָׂ֔ו | ʿēśāw | ay-SAHV |
| in Seir; | הַיֹּֽשְׁבִ֖ים | hayyōšĕbîm | ha-yoh-sheh-VEEM |
| afraid be shall they and | בְּשֵׂעִ֑יר | bĕśēʿîr | beh-say-EER |
