Deuteronomy 17:8-13 in Punjabi

8 If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within thy gates: then shalt thou arise, and get thee up into the place which the Lord thy God shall choose;

9 And thou shalt come unto the priests the Levites, and unto the judge that shall be in those days, and inquire; and they shall shew thee the sentence of judgment:

10 And thou shalt do according to the sentence, which they of that place which the Lord shall choose shall shew thee; and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee:

11 According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do: thou shalt not decline from the sentence which they shall shew thee, to the right hand, nor to the left.

12 And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the Lord thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.

13 And all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more presumptuously.

8 ਕਚਿਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਫ਼ੈਸਲੇ “ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਦਾ ਕਚਿਹਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਹੋਵੇ। ਇਹ ਕਤਲ, ਕੋਈ ਲੜਾਈ ਵੀ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ, ਜਾਂ ਇਹ ਦੋ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਦਲੀਲਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਵੀ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਠਣ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰ, ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਕਤ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਨ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਦੁਆਰਾ ਚੁਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਜਗ਼੍ਹਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

9 ਜਾਜਕ ਲੇਵੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਨ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਡਿਉਟੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਵੇ। ਉਹ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ।

10 ਉੱਥੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਖਾਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਦੱਸਣਗੇ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਹੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਆਖਣ। ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਹੋਵੋ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਹ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ।
And thou shalt do according to the sentence, which they of that place which the Lord shall choose shall shew thee; and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee:

11 ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਮੰਨ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਿਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਮਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਉਹੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਖਣ-ਕਿਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਤਬਦੀਲੀ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ!
According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do: thou shalt not decline from the sentence which they shall shew thee, to the right hand, nor to the left.

12 “ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਸ ਜਾਜਕ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਮੰਨਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ। ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਰਨਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਢ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the Lord thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.

13 ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੁਣਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਜ਼ਿੱਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ।
And all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more presumptuously.
