Deuteronomy 11
26 ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ: ਅਸੀਸਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਸਰਾਪ “ਅੱਜ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਚੋਣ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਸੀਸਾਂ ਚੁਣ ਲਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਸਰਾਪ।
27 ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸਾਂ ਮਿਲਣਗੀਆਂ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਦੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣੋਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਨੋਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਦੱਸ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
28 ਪਰ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਨਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਰਾਪੇ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਜਿਉਣਾ ਨਾ ਛੱਡੋ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਨਾ ਲੱਗੋ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ।
29 “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵੱਲ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਉੱਥੇ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕਰ ਲਵੋਂਗੇ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗੋਰੱਜ਼ੀਮ ਪਰਬਤ ਦੀ ਚੋਟੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਜਾਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹਨਾ। ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਏਬਾਲ ਪਰਬਤ ਦੀ ਚੋਟੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਜਾਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਰਾਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹਨਾ।
30 ਇਹ ਪਰਬਤ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਕਨਾਨੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਪਰਬਤ ਪੱਛਮ ਵੱਲ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਗਿਲਗਾਲ ਕਸਬੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਮੋਰਹ ਦੇ ਓਕ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤੀ ਦੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।
31 ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਰ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ,
26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day:
28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.
29 And it shall come to pass, when the Lord thy God hath brought thee in unto the land whither thou goest to possess it, that thou shalt put the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal.
30 Are they not on the other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth down, in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign over against Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh?
31 For ye shall pass over Jordan to go in to possess the land which the Lord your God giveth you, and ye shall possess it, and dwell therein.

Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
27 ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸਾਂ ਮਿਲਣਗੀਆਂ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਦੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣੋਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਨੋਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਦੱਸ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day:
28 ਪਰ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਨਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਰਾਪੇ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਜਿਉਣਾ ਨਾ ਛੱਡੋ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਨਾ ਲੱਗੋ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ।
And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.
29 “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵੱਲ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਉੱਥੇ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕਰ ਲਵੋਂਗੇ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗੋਰੱਜ਼ੀਮ ਪਰਬਤ ਦੀ ਚੋਟੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਜਾਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹਨਾ। ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਏਬਾਲ ਪਰਬਤ ਦੀ ਚੋਟੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਜਾਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਰਾਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹਨਾ।

30 ਇਹ ਪਰਬਤ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਕਨਾਨੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਪਰਬਤ ਪੱਛਮ ਵੱਲ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਗਿਲਗਾਲ ਕਸਬੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਮੋਰਹ ਦੇ ਓਕ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤੀ ਦੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।
Are they not on the other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth down, in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign over against Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh?
31 ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਰ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ,
For ye shall pass over Jordan to go in to possess the land which the Lord your God giveth you, and ye shall possess it, and dwell therein.
