ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਲੇ ਲੈ ਆਂਦੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚਲੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜੇ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ, ਉਸਦੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀਆਂ ਦਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਅ ਪੀਤੀ।
