Amos 8:12
ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ, ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ, ਉੱਤਰ ਤੋਂ ਪੂਰਬ ਤੀਕ ਘੁੰਮਦੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਲਦੇ ਇੱਧਰੋ ਉੱਧਰ ਘਂਮਦੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਣਗੇ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਜ ਨਾ ਸੱਕਣਗੇ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਰਾਮ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹੇ ਪਿਤਾ, ਸਵਰਗ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਚੁਸਤ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਗੁਪਤ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਤਾਂ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਕੀ ਹੋਇਆ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਧਰਮੀ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਨਾਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਰਹੇ। ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਚੁਣੇ ਲੋਕ ਧਰਮੀ ਬਣ ਗਏ। ਬਾਕੀ ਲੋਕ ਢੀਠ ਬਣੇ ਰਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਨ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰੀ ਬਣ ਗਏ।
ਦਾਨੀ ਐਲ 12:4
“‘ਪਰ ਤੂੰ, ਦਾਨੀਏਲ, ਇਸ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਪਤ ਰੱਖੀਂ। ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਭੇਤ ਅੰਤ ਕਾਲ ਤੀਕ ਸਾਂਭ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਸੱਚੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਧਰ-ਉੱਧਰ ਭਟਣਕਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਸੱਚਾ ਗਿਆਨ ਵੱਧੇ ਫ਼ੁੱਲੇਗਾ।’

ਉਹ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਜੁੜਦਾ, ਖਿੰਡ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
