ਪਤਰਸ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਤਦ ਪਤਰਸ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗਿਆਰਾਂ ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਖੜੋ ਕੇ ਉੱਚੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਆਖਣ ਲੱਗਾ, “ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਭਰਾਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨਿਵਾਸੀਓ, ਮੇਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣੋ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੱਸਾਂਗਾ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਜਾਨਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
