21 ਪੌਲੁਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਦੀ ਵਿਉਂਤ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾਈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਮਕਦੂਨਿਯਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਖਾਯਾ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਘ ਕੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਵਿਉਂਤ ਬਣਾਈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ “ਮੇਰੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਰੋਮ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਵੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।”
22 ਤਿਮੋਥਿਉਸ ਅਤੇ ਇਰਸਤੁਸ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਚੰਗੇ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਨ। ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਕਦੂਨਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪ ਕੁਝ ਦੇਰ ਅਸਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੁਕਿਆ।
21 After these things were ended, Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I must also see Rome.
22 So he sent into Macedonia two of them that ministered unto him, Timotheus and Erastus; but he himself stayed in Asia for a season.
