Proverbs 28:19
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰੀ ਦਾ ਫਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਸੱਕੀਮਾਂ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਭੱਜੇ ਉਹ ਗਰੀਬ ਹੀ ਰਹੇਗਾ।

ਇੱਕ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਸੰਗ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਲਿਆਉਂਦਾ, ਜਦ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਮੂਰਖ ਆਦਮੀ ਦਾ ਸੰਗ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਲਿਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਜਿੱਥੇ ਬਲਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ, ਬਾੜਾ ਖਾਲੀ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਇੱਕ ਬਲਦ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ, ਭਰਪੂਰ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਦੀ ਵਾਢੀ ਕਰਨ ’ਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
