-26- ਮੇਰੇ ਬੇਟੇ, ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਖਾਓ, ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿੱਠਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

Proverbs 25:16
ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਇਸਦਾ ਲੋੜ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸੇਵਨ ਨਾ ਕਰ। ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ।
Isaiah 7:15

ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਖਾਣਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਲਈ ਆਦਰ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
