ਪਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਆ ਸੱਕਦੇ। ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੇ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਬਹਾਨਾ ਲਗਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਹਿਲੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ‘ਮੈਂ ਹੁਣੇ-ਹੁਣੇ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਖਰੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਜਾਕੇ ਵੇਖਣੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਖਿਮਾ ਕਰਨਾ।’
Psalm 119:111
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕਰਾਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੱਲਾਂਗਾ। ਇਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
