Isaiah 13:8
ਹਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਡਰ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੇਟ ਓਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੁੱਖਣਗੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਔਰਤ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦੇ ਰਹੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਅੱਗ ਵਾਂਗ ਲਾਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਲੋਕ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਡਰ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਛਾਵਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਗਵਾਂਢੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਚਿਹਰਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

Isaiah 26:17
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜੀ, ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸੰਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਔਰਤ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਜਨਮ ਪੀੜਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਚੀਖਦੀ ਹੈ।
Isaiah 21:3
ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੇਖੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਹਾਂ। ਡਰ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰਾ ਪੇਟ ਦੁੱਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਦਰਦ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦੇਣ ਵਰਗਾ ਦਰਦ ਹੈ। ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਦੇਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਡਰ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਬਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
1 Thessalonians 5:3
ਲੋਕੀ ਕਹਿਣਗੇ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਅਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਹਾਂ।” ਉਸੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਤੇਜੀ ਨਾਲ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਆ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਹ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਵੇਗੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੇ ਜੰਮਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੀੜਾਂ ਸਹਿਣੀਆਂ ਪੈਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਲੋਕੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਣਗੇ।

“ਇਹ ਸਵਾਲ ਪੁੱਛੋ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੋਚੋ: ਕੀ ਕੋਈ ਆਦਮੀ ਬੱਚਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ? ਬੇਸੱਕ ਨਹੀਂ! ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਹਰ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੇਟ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਂਭਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਦੇਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਔਰਤ ਜਨਮ ਪੀੜਾਂ ਸਹਿ ਰਹੀ ਹੋਵੇ? ਹਰ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਮਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਬੰਦੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਫ਼ੇਦ ਕਿਉਂ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ? ਕਿਉਂ ਲੋਕ ਡਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਨੇ।
Jeremiah 4:31
ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਬੱਚਾ ਜੰਮਦੀ ਔਰਤ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹ ਚੀਖ ਉਸ ਔਰਤ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਪਹਿਲੋਠੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਜੰਮ ਰਹੀ ਹੋਵੇ। ਇਹ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਦੀ ਚੀਖ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਉਟਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, “ਆਹ! ਮੈਂ ਬੇਹੋਸ਼ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਹਾਂ! ਮੇਰੇ ਚੌਗਿਰਦੇ ਕਾਤਲ ਖਲੋਤੇ ਨੇ!”
Psalm 48:5
