Isaiah 13:5
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਓਸਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦੂਰ ਦੁਰਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਦੁਮੇਲੋ ਪਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕਹਿਰ ਆਪਣਾ ਦਰਸਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਹਬਿਆਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਵਰਤੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ।”

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਜ਼ਰਾੇਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਫ਼ੌਜਾਂ ਘੱਲੇਗਾ ਦੇਖੋ! ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੂਰ ਦੁਰਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਝੰਡਾ ਲਹਿਰਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੀਟੀ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਬੁਲਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਦੂਰ ਦੇਸੋਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
Isaiah 13:17
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਦੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਮਿਦੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਫ਼ੌਜਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਬਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮਿਦੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਫ਼ੌਜਾਂ ਹਮਲੇ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਟਣਗੀਆਂ। ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨਾ ਹੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਾ ਅਦਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
Isaiah 24:1
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਦੇਖੋ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਹਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਾਕ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
Jeremiah 50:3
ਉੱਤਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਕੌਮ ਬਾਬਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰੇਗੀ। ਉਹ ਕੌਮ ਬਾਬਲ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾੜ ਮਾਰੂਬਲ ਵਾਂਗ ਬਣਾ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ। ਓੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਓਬੋਁ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਭੱਜ ਖਲੋਣਗੇ।”

ਮੈਂ ਉੱਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਾਬਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਬਾਬਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਤੀਰ ਛੱਡਣਗੀਆਂ ਉਹ ਤੀਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਫ਼ੌਜੀਆਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਜੰਗ ਤੋਂ ਖਾਲੀ ਹਬੀਁ ਵਾਪਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੇ।
Jeremiah 51:11
ਆਪਣੇ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਿੱਖੇ ਕਰੋ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਸ਼ਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਰ ਲਵੋ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਲੂਣਾ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹ ਨੂੰ ਹਲੂਣਾ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬਾਬਲ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰਨਾ ਲੋਚਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਸਦੇ ਉਹ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹਨ। ਬਾਬਲ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਅੰਦਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਮੰਦਰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਸਦੇ ਉਹ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹਨ।
Jeremiah 51:20
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਬਾਬਲ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੀ ਗਰਜ਼ ਹੈਂ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੰਨਣ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
Matthew 24:31
