Genesis 25:20
ਜਦੋਂ ਇਸਹਾਕ 40 ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਰਿਬਕਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ। ਰਿਬਕਾਹ ਪਦਨ ਅਰਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਬਥੂਏਲ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਬਾਨ ਅਰਾਮੀ ਦੀ ਭੈਣ ਸੀ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਇਸਹਾਕ ਕੁੜੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ। ਰਿਬਕਾਹ ਉਸੇ ਦਿਨ ਇਸਹਾਕ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਬਣ ਗਈ। ਇਸਹਾਕ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਸਹਾਕ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਹੌਂਸਲਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ।

ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਲਾਬਾਨ ਅਰਾਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਲਾਬਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।
Genesis 31:18
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਕਨਾਨ ਦੀ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵੱਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਇਸਹਾਕ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਇੱਜੜ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੇ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ-ਅੱਗੇ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹਰ ਉਹ ਚੀਜ਼ ਚੁੱਕ ਲਈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਦੋਂ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਪਦਨ ਅਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ।
Genesis 28:5
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਸਹਾਕ ਨੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਰਿਬਕਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਕੋਲ ਪਦਨ ਅਰਾਮ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਆਰਾਮੀ ਬਥੂਏਲ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਲਾਬਾਨ ਕੋਲ ਚੱਲਾ ਗਿਆ। ਲਾਬਾਨ ਰਿਬਕਾਹ ਦਾ ਭਰਾ ਸੀ। ਰਿਬਕਾਹ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਅਤੇ ਏਸਾਓ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਸੀ।
Luke 4:27
