ਮਫ਼ੀਬੋਸ਼ਥ ਨੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੋਏ ਹੋਏ ਕੁੱਤੇ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ ਪਰ ਇਹ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੋ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਹਰ, ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਵਾਜਿਆ ਹੈ।”
