2 Kings 7:1
ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭੇਜੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣੋ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: ‘ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਇਸੇ ਵਕਤ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਫਾਟਕ ਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਡੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਟੇ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਟੋਕਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਜੌਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋ ਬਾਲਟੀਆਂ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ੈਕਲ ’ਚ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ। ਅਨਾਜ ਦਾ ਇੰਨਾ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਇੰਨਾ ਸਸਤਾ ਅਨਾਜ ਮੁੜ ਤੋਂ ਢੇਰ ਸਾਰਾ ਖਰੀਦਣ ਦੇ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ।”

Psalm 46:5

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਮਾਂ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿੰਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਕਲ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ।”

ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਟੋਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਭੋਜ ਕਰਾਉਣਾ ਬਆਲ ਸ਼ਲੀਸ਼ਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੇਤ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜੌਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਰੋਟੀਆਂ ਦੇ 20 ਟੁਕੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਝੋਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਲਈ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਅਨਾਜ ਲਿਆਇਆ। ਤਦ ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਇਹ ਭੋਜਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡ ਦੇ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਖਾ ਸੱਕਣ।”

2 Kings 20:16
ਤਦ ਯਸਾਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਤੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਸੁਣ!

ਜਦੋਂ ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਅਜੇ ਆਗੂ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਹੀ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਵਾਹਕ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਵੇਖੋ! ਇਹ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਭਲਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੀ ਹੋਰ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਰਾਂ?”
