ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਵੱਲ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਵਾਹਕ ਭੇਜਿਆ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਬੈਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਵਾਹਕ ਦੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਨੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਵੇਖੋ ਉਸ ਖੂਨੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਿਰ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਜਣੇ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਹੈ। ਵੇਖੋ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਵਾਹਕ ਆਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਾ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਧੱਕੀ ਰੱਖਣਾ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਿੜਕ ਵੀ ਸੁਣ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।”
