ਯਹੋਆਹਾਜ਼ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਯਹੋਆਹਾਜ਼ 23 ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਣਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿੰਨ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਰਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਹਮੂਟਲ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਲਿਬਨਾਹ ਦੇ ਯਿਰਮਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਸੀ।
