ਤਾਂ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਆਲੀਮ ਅਤੇ ਅਸ਼ਤਾਰੋਥ ਦੇ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ। ਅਤੇ ਕੇਵਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ।

Judges 10:6
ਅੰਮੋਨੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜਾਈ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੰਦਾ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਬਆਲ ਅਤੇ ਅਸ਼ਤਾਰੋਥ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ। ਉਹ ਅਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ, ਸੀਦੋਨ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ, ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ, ਅੰਮੋਨ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ, ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਹਟ ਗਏ।
